Adam and I met at Woodbury Brewing Company thanks to a few mutual friends. He was sitting on top of a picnic table while I was standing nearby when he looked over and said, “Hi, what’s your name?” I answered, “Erika, with a K,” and somehow, that was the beginning of everything.

We instantly hit it off, and in a very out-of-character moment for me, I left my car in the parking lot and hopped on the back of his motorcycle for my first ride ever. From there, the night just kept going. Conversation came easily, we laughed a lot, and neither of us was quite ready for it to end.

That first night turned into the start of something neither of us expected.

Since then, Adam has shown me what it means to have a true partner in life. He is steady, hardworking, loyal, and completely himself. We have grown a lot together, learned a lot about each other, and built a life that feels very much like ours.

We can’t wait to celebrate something so special with all of our favorite people.
